We're looking for a Tenancy Support Coordinator

Tenancy Support Coordinator 24/REC/692

Location: Covering the South Down Area

Hours:  37.5 per week

Salary: £26,225- £28,411  (Grade 3)

Starting Salary: £26,225

Duration: Fixed term until 31st October 2026

Closing date: 12 noon, Tuesday 30th January 2024

Be responsible for co-ordinating the Tenancy Support Service in the South Down area, liaising with referral agents within the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and other key stakeholders, providing line management support to the staff team and ensuring delivery of a person-centred, high-quality, cost-effective service.

 What we ask for from you:

  • QCF Diploma Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Must have at least one year’s experience of managing a service including managing a staff team.

         AND

         Able to demonstrate a minimum of 2 years recent experience, providing           housing support to people within the community in a paid or voluntary             capacity.

         OR

         Demonstrate a minimum of 12 months experience of providing support           in a paid or voluntary capacity in another community or care setting

  • Must have an understanding of the political and social context within which the voluntary organizations provide services to those experiencing difficulties in sustaining tenancies
  • Must have a sound understanding of the social care needs of people experiencing difficulties with sustaining tenancies including those experiencing mental health difficulties
  • To be willing to work flexibly which may include days & evenings and participate in the on call rota
  • NISCC Registration or eligible to be registered from commencement of role
