Hours:  16 hours per week

Salary: £11,189.33 - £12,122.03 (Grade 3)

Starting Salary: £11,189.33

Duration: Permanent

To coordinate the self-management programme and Voices Forum supporting people in taking active steps towards their own recovery. The Self-Management Co-Ordinator for the Voices Forum and Self-Management Programme has a key responsibility to develop and deliver self-management programmes throughout the Belfast and SEHSCT areas and to develop and support a user–led Forum, representing the views of service users on a range of internal and external forums to include decision making processes

What we ask for from you:

  • GCSE/O level grade C or above in English & Maths or equivalent
  • Level 3 QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Must have at least 2 years’ recent experience of providing support to people with mental health difficulties in a community or statutory setting OR Must have at least 3 years’ recent experience of the above carried out in a voluntary capacity as a member of a voluntary organisation.
  • One years’ recent experience of preparing materials for groups and facilitating groups.
  • 1 years’ recent experience of facilitating training programmes to clients both face to face and online.
  • 1 years’ recent experience of facilitating training programmes to clients both face to face and online.
  • Hold a current driving licence and access to a car is essential as this role may require the post holder to travel regionally. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence
  • Be registered with or eligible for registration with NISCC
